Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Karkardooma Court, on Thursday issued a bailable warrant against an investigation officer after he skipped court proceedings held on Wednesday.
Earlier on June 29, the court gave two months' time to complete the investigation related to Heart Beat City case, a group housing project in Sector 108, Noida. The officer was asked to compile the detailed reports which were to be presented before the court.

Raj Kamal, an advocate, told that Judge Shivali Sharma issued a bailable warrant against the investigation officer, who is required to be present at the next hearing scheduled for next month on 16th September.
He said, "The investigation officer was ordered to compile an investigation report and propose action in Heart Beat City case. This report was to be presented before the court today (Wednesday) but the investigation officer did not attend the hearing held today.''
Homebuyers of the housing project had lodged an FIR with the economic offence wing of Delhi police about 5-6 months ago. But the case was not taken seriously by police officers due to which home buyers did not get any response from the wing on the development of their case.
Following this, they moved to Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Karkardooma Court, seeking an order from the court under clause 3 of section 156 crpe in which the Judge ordered to conduct an enquiry in the matter.
Homebuyers had paid the amount to the developer almost several years ago but they are yet to get their homes. Homebuyers have said that nothing concrete has happened on the site. They had moved to the court seeking justice for investment in the housing project.
