Newly-elected members of NOFAA management board take oath

Members of the newly-elected management board of the Noida Federation of Apartment Owners' Association (NOFAA), an umbrella organisation for high rises in the city, took oath on Saturday. The oath-taking program held at the clubhouse of Shubhkamana Apartment (Sector 50).

A total of 19 members were elected during the polls which took place after a gap of two years. Rajiva Singh was elected as the president for a second consecutive term.





Speaking on the occasion, Singh thanked his voters, adding that the board will try to live up to the expectations of residents to make the city a better place to live in. 

He further said, "High-rises in all the residential sectors of the area will be divided into four zones for carrying out effective monitoring of the development works besides key issues. Zone 1 includes high-rises of Sectors 45,50,51 and 52 whereas high-rises of Sector 61 and 62 come under Zone 2. Zone 3 will be covering societies of Sectors 76,77,78,79,93A and 93B while apartments in Sector 137 will fall in Zone 4 category."

These zones will be expanded if the number of societies in these sectors increases. Each zone will be headed by the vice-president of respective zones.
