Water supply in several parts of the city will be affected on Thursday (July 4) as the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has planned to undertake repair work of a pipeline in Sector 16's boosting station, located near IFFCO Chowk. Due to this, the boosting station will remain closed for 12 hours. As a result, there will be no water supply.
This was informed by the spokesperson of the development authority.
Areas that will be affected include Sectors 17, 29, 42, 43, Sushant Lok-I, MG Road, DLF Phase – I, II, III. Citing heat wave, officials of the authority have advised people to use water judiciously to avoid a dry condition.
This boosting plant mainly supplies water to Master Supply Zone II.
