GreNo: FNG buyers protest against delayed possession of flats

Several flat buyers who have booked their flats in FNG, an under construction housing society in Greater Noida, on Sunday protested against the builder. During the protest, home buyers alleged that almost all the buyers have paid up to 95 per cent of dues of their flats. However, the building is yet to be completed. greater noida news

Aggrieved homebuyers shouted slogans against builder, banks and the government. They also alleged that they have been cheated by a nexus of builders and banks.



Rashmi Panday, a member of Noida Extension Flat Owners and Members Association (NEFOMA) said, “ The developers have taken money from buyers up to 95 per cent. However, only structure of 520 flats have been built so far. It has been more than three years. Hundreds of flat buyers have been moving from pillar the post to get their flats.” visitor management system

Protesting flat buyers also alleged that the builder has taken a loan of Rs 65 crore from a bank and around Rs 100 crore collected from the flat buyers. Despite this, they have stopped the construction of the building. “Flat buyers had even lodged complaint against the builder earlier,” they claimed.

“We had complained against builders - Ram Singh and D K Singhal and both were arrested. However, they got bail soon. Hundreds of homebuyers were cheated in the name of flats despite paying hard earned money. After the duo got bail, there was no communication and no message from the builder whether we will get our flats or not,” said one of the protesting buyers. gate management system

R K Kushwaha, said, “I booked a flat in this project in 2011 thinking we will have a flat nearby the school where my children are enrolled. I was promised that possession of flat will be given in 2015.”

Home buyers have now have decided to approach the Supreme Court to get the justice.

In an another protest on Sunday, several home buyers, waiting to get possession of their flats in RG Luxury housing project in Greater Noida, reached out to builder’s residence at Panjabi Bagh in New Delhi.
