Angered by the callous approach of the builder, the allottees of ILD Greens, a residential project located in Sector 73, protested outside the Gurugram office of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRERA) on Wednesday.
“The builder had promised to give us the possession in December 2012 and it is 2019 now! We have no idea when will this project get completed. It is a big concern as most of us have already paid 90 per cent of the total amount for our flats,” protestors alleged.

They further complained saying the builder is not ready to talk to them.
One of the aggrieved allottees said that the developer launched the project in the year 2007. Booking of the flats commenced in 2008. The builder, in the year 2010, signed an agreement with the allottees in which it was clearly stated that they will get the possession of their flats by December 2012.
“According to the project planned, 7 towers were to be constructed out of which the builder managed to complete almost 3. Rest of them are in a pending state,” he added.
The allottees met the chairman of HRERA, KK Khandelwal, and apprised him about the approach of the builder in this regard. Khandelwal, in reply, has assured that a notice will be issued against him.
