Choked drain annoys residents of Noida's Supertech Capetown; complaint filed

Residents of Supertech Capetown, a high rise in Sector 74, have lodged a complaint with the Noida Authority against the builder regarding a blocked drain. "Monsoon has almost approached but this drain is yet to be cleaned," people of the society complained. noida news

The blocked drain, which is partially open, is beside the green belt along the boundary wall of the society. A major portion of it, facing the society entry or exit gates, has been covered by cemented slabs.



Talking to City Spidey, Vinod Kumar Gupta, a resident said, "The drain is filled with garbage. I have lodged a complaint with the authority concerned via Twitter to draw the attention of officials towards the issue." apartment management system

He further alleged that the developer of the society does not allow removal of the slabs over the drain because he will be exposed. He added saying that sewage is being flooded out from the society into the drain is a violation of the rules.

According to the rules, the developer has to treat sewage for reuse. Only 40 per cent of total treated sewage can be flown into the drain. But in this case, it is a sheer violation of the rules as the untreated sewage is being flooded out in the drain. visitor management system

City Spidey contacted one of the officials of the Noida Authority and he in reply said that the department is aware of the issue as a hefty penalty amounting to Rs 18 lakh has been imposed on the violator.

"Further action will be taken if the rules are not followed," the official source concluded.
