Residents of Signature Heights in Raj Nagar Extension elected their apartment owners’ association (AOA) after an election held on Sunday. A total of nine members were elected to the board of AOA.
City Spidey reached out to the newly elected board members to know their plans ahead.
Monu Tyagi, president of the new board of members, said that the vision is to renovate the society. “We will soon start the paint work of the buildings.”
Nishant Srivastava, an elected secretary of the new AOA, said that there are plans to do a lot of changes and additions in the society. "We plan are also plans to install exercise equipment in the park to convert it into an open gym, which would be especially beneficial for our senior citizens,” he said.
Security of the premises is another aspect which the new AOA would like to focus on. “We would extend the coverage of CCTV cameras installed on the premises. The aim is to bring the whole basement under electronic surveillance,” added Tyagi.
Apart from CCTV, the AOA also plans to make addition to the basement. "The ramps for entering and exiting the basement will be covered with asbestos sheet. It would help stop accumulation of rainwater in the basement during monsoons,” Srivastava added.
