After receiving an overwhelming response from the residents of Noida earlier, Raahgiri Day will now be held in Sector 137 on April 7 from 7 am onwards.
The event will see seasoned Zumba trainers, yoga teachers and aerobics instructors training the audience. There will also be activity zones where kids can draw, paint and carry out art and craft activities. A sports zone will be held where children will have an opportunity to skate, play football and other sports.
Music bands will also showcase their talent in the activity zone.
Raahgiri is India’s first sustained car-free citizen initiative that promotes walking and healthy living, thereby aiming to connect communities.
There will also be a range of music bands performing at the activity zone. It’s a free open street event for everyone. Vishnu Saini, one of the organising team members talking to City Spidey, said, “The first two events had received tremendous response from the residents of Noida as there was a huge turnout. Sector 137 has a number of high-rises and we are expecting maximum participation from the residents this time also.”
