The residents, living in cities of Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, are voting to elect their Member of Parliament (MP) on Thursday. This is the first phase of polling during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. As per the initial reports, people are voting enthusiastically in huge numbers.
Long queues were seen at the polling booths this morning. In fact, almost 24 per cent voting was registered till 11 AM in Gautam Budh Nagar.
