BREAKING: Police arrest accused who murdered Wing Commander’s wife at Dwarka

Dwarka police on Monday evening arrested the accused in the case of murder and robbery at Air Force Naval Officers Enclave in Dwarka.

Wife of a retired Wing Commander, Meenu Jain (52), was found dead at her flat in Air Force Naval Officers Enclave on April 26. She was wife of Vinod Kumar Jain who is a Wing Commander in Indian Air Force. The body was found in the room with stains of blood on the bed and pillow.



The Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Rajendra Singh, informed that the accused, Dinesh Dixit (56 years), is a resident of Jaipur in Rajasthan.

Police recovered cash, jewellery and a Maruti Desire car which was used by accused to enter the society. During preliminary investigation, the accused disclosed that he had been in contact of the deceased for last several months. He had visited the deceased at her residence many times.

Police said that the accused accepted that he visited the society on the afternoon of April 25 and he was there till next day’s morning. The accused accepted that he smothered the victim and robbed the articles before fleeing away to Jaipur.
