A case of suicide has been reported from Shipra Sun City, a township in Ghaziabad, in which a 47-year-old man hanged self to the ceiling fan of his flat.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Ajeet Pratap Singh, working as marketing head with one of the private news channels. He was staying alone whereas his family lives in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
"We were informed about this incident by one of the residents of the society," police added.
The body of the deceased has been sent for the postmortem. More details are awaited.
