Gurugram: Residents of Sushant Lok 2, 3 meet MLA; submit memo

Residents of Sushant Lok Phase 2 and 3, along with former RWA chief Joginder Singh on Friday evening met the member of legislative assembly (MLA) Tejpal Tanwar and submitted a memorandum, demanding to give the handover of the colony to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG).

According to a report published in jagran.com, People of the area alleged the builder has completely stopped the maintenance work despite paying monthly fees. As a result, they are facing trouble to get daily services.
Advocate Manish Shandilya, Amar Jindal, Neeraj Kumar, Rajendra Mittal including former RWA chief Joginder Singh said the MCG has taken 8 colonies including DLF under its jurisdiction. They stated the situation of these two phases is becoming worse.

They further cited that Ansal got the license 25 years ago whereas according to act, it is mandatory for every coloniser to develop the colony and hand it over to the corporation within 5 years. But the builder neither followed the set norms nor did he take the completion certificate of the colony.

Residents of the area now hope through submitting this memorandum, the process of handing over the colony to the municipal corporation will be expedited.
