Crossings Republik's branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad organised a Holi Milan function on Sunday in the township in the presence of senior citizens.
The function commenced with lighting the lamps by senior citizens and was followed by special performances by other members.
The special attraction of the event was the honour of "Shakha Ratna" which was awarded to the most senior member, Ashok Jain. Ghaziabad News
"He was honoured for his unforgettable contribution to the organization," Payal Tripathi, female coordinator of the organization told City Spidey.
"Even at the age of 68, he has always been on his toes at each and every event, like any youngster," she added.
Besides, office bearers of the organization informed about and discussed upcoming events with the other members of the organization present in the event.
