The 70th Republic Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervour across Dwarka.
The day started with RWAs and managements of housing societies organizing flag hoisting ceremony on the society premises. Later on, several cultural programmes were also held for the residents, especially children.
The celebrations weren’t just limited to the society premises. Social organisations held cultural programmes, sports activities and painting competitions in parks and public places on the occasion. At Sector 6 DDA park, a painting competition was organised for children. Choti Si Khushi, a volunteer organisation for underprivileged children, along with the residents of the area held a kid-centric celebration at Sector 3 DDA Park.
