Ajnara Integrity gets a new AOA; new roadmap charted

The residents of Ajnara Integrity, a high rise in Rajnagar Extension, chose its new AOA after an election this week. The election saw nine winners.

Nitin Kumar Tyagi, the new AOA president, said, “Building coordination with the residents will be his first priority. For the last two years, barely two GBM were held by the outgoing AOA. We will hold meetings every month to discuss the work to be done.”

Parking will be another challenge for the new AOA.

“We have multiple issues of parking. Many residents have not been able to avail their parking till date. Also, we will apply the rule of 10% of the parking reserved for the guests in the society,” Tyagi confirmed.

AOA will also streamline the parking system.

“Residents park their vehicles on others’ slots and then fight on internal WhatsApp groups. We will issue separate stickers for open, covered and basement parking, so people park their cars only at their allotted slots,” Tyagi added.

And then comes the question of a security overhaul.

“Recently, a few locals forcefully entered the society and fought with a resident around 11 pm in presence of security guards. This was scary for all the residents. We will either end the contract with the security agency or ask them for a better replacement,” Tyagi emphasized.

“This area is dominated by locals. The harass residents and guards without provocation. We need to have ample security to combat any untoward incident,” he added.

The AOA also plans to increase electronic surveillance in the society.

“We plan to start the process of takeover of maintenance from the builder. We have plans to make separate committees for issues like lifts, common area, etc. The respective committees will prepare the report on the issues they are responsible for,” said Tyagi.
