Residents of Greater Noida will now have a pincode to call their own!

Residents of Greater Noida have much to cheer for — their demand for a post office has finally been fulfilled today.

The post office, inaugurated today, will have a new pin code of 201318.

Prior to this, temporary arrangements were done at Bisrakh village post office, near telephone exchange.

For Sector 1 residents of Greater Noida West, a temporary post office was operational in Surajpur area, and they could order online using the pincode 201306. Residents from other sectors were using the one at Bisrakh village, with the pin 201009.

But with more than 20 high-rises, housing more than 50,000 residents, the need for a post office in the area had become dire.

Happy at the development,  Sailesh Kumar, a resident of Panchsheel Greens, said, “It’s a big win for over 50,000 residents of Greater Noida West. Without a pin for the area, residents would often not receive items they ordered online. It had become a big problem.”
