The Minister of Industrial Development, Satish Mahana, on Wednesday inaugurated the NTPC underpass at Sector 33A in Noida. The underpass is now open to public.
The underpass was constructed at the cost of Rs 55 crore. The work on the underpass had started on June 30, 2015.
The underpass was supposed to be operational by 2016 end but the work was held up owing to the delay in shifting utility services that were passing through the land earmarked for the project.
The Noida Authority has also done the wall art work at the underpass.
Murals were painted at the underpass under the theme of ‘Eternal Indian Banyan Tree - Kalpa Vriksha’ by the authority in association with the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA).
