“The CM has a list of events that he is likely to attend between 2 pm and 6.30 pm on Sunday. He will then depart for New Delhi. He may also sign an agreement with the concessionaire for a dedicated bus service in the city. However, the same cannot be confirmed right now owing to his packed schedule,” an official spokesperson for the Haryana government said.

Apart from these commitments, Khattar may also inaugurate a two-storey girls’ hostel in Sector 14, a government college for girls, a water boosting station of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) at Sector-7 extension, as well as lay the foundation stone for six sewage treatment plants of the MCG under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) scheme.

While many of his commitments are tentative, Gurugram MP and Union minister of state Rao Inderjit Singh said that the CM will be inaugurating the Hero Honda Chowk underpass and the IMT Manesar Chowk flyover on Sunday.

“The Hero Honda Chowk underpass and IMT Chowk flyover has been opened on trial basis and the commuters have given a positive feedback on them. These projects are in line with the government’s vision of reducing the load of traffic on all bottleneck points on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway and ease the movement of vehicles,” Singh said.

The trial of two-way underpass was started on April 30. People can now easily move towards Sectors 34, 9, 9A, 10, 10A and 37. The trial at two-way flyover at IMT Chowk started on May 9. This flyover will enable commuters to seamlessly move between New Delhi and Jaipur.
