Noida: MLA pays visit to residents, assures eradication of civic woes


The MLA of Dadri, Tejpal Nagar, on Saturday assured the residents of four gated societies in Sector 168 that all of their civic woes will be addressed soon. He met the residents of Paras Seasons, Golden Palm, Lotus Zinc and Urbtech Xavier during the visit. noida news

Nagar said that he will talk to officials of Noida authority regarding the civic issues of these societies.

Chetan Chauhan, a resident of Paras Seasons told City Spidey that mosquitoes have increased leaps and bounds due to blockage in all the drains in the area and it has become very difficult for people to go for a night walk.

“CCTV cameras should be installed on the sector’s road to track the movement of unknown people. Robbery has become very common after dark in the sectors,” Chauhan said.

Residents also demanded cleaning of drains, repair of traffic lights, maintenance of parks, cleaning of choked sewers and maintaining hygiene in and around garbage dump yards in the sectors.

“Bus connectivity to the nearest metro station should be started inside the sector. Presently, due to absence of bus service, auto drivers demand huge money,” Chauhan added.

Nagar had already talked to the transport department of the district and he got assurance that bus service will be started inside the sectors adjacent to expressway.

The residents informed that there are more than 1,500 residents who are presently living the sectors and more residents will shift here in the coming months. They said that the number of the residents will cross 15,000 by the next year.

People also emphasised that there are many projects which are also under construction and hence officials of all the concerned authorities should take care of the amenities.
