However, MCG commissioner Yashpal Yadav apprised that they might discuss the amount of money the builders will have to pay for improving civic amenities ahead of the transfer to MCG.
“A decision has to be taken regarding payment by the builders to make up for deficient (civic) infrastructure. There is some dispute regarding this amount,” Yadav said.
MCG officials informed that builders have not paid any amount to MCG and stayed away from improving amenities till date. They said that builders have also questioned the estimate.
This development has followed after a meeting between chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Gurgaon Citizens Council. The issue was discussed during a meeting on April 12. Khattar had then directed the MCG to initiate the process.
As per reports, on March 25, TL Satyaprakash, the then director general of TCP, was transferred and since then the transfer process is in a state of limbo.
MCG officials informed that they have not received any new direction in the transfer process.
As per sources, representatives from ULB, private developers, MCG, Haryana urban development authority, and the TCP department will participate in the meeting.
