Aggrieved parents of 16-year-old Ekisha Raghav Shah, who committed suicide on Tuesday evening, and other parents gathered outside Ahlcon Public School in Mayur Vihar to carry out protests.
According to the girl’s parents, she was told by a teacher: “However hard you may study, I will still fail you — and that’s what they did.” In the words of her parents she was facing tremendous “metal agony” and sexual harassment at the hands of the teachers.
Her father, as a mark of protest, displayed her daughter’s ghunghroo outside her school.
Parents have blocked Noida-Delhi road in Phase I area.
