Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be physically present for the National Youth Festival in Greater Noida, but will virtually join the youth via video conferencing. The event is to be held in Gautam Buddha University from January 12-16.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath will attend the inaugural session on January 12 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The PM will communicate with the youth from 12.30 pm to 2 pm.
The festival is being organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in Greater Noida, and arrangements are being made to accommodate 3,500 youths from across the country.
BN Singh, district magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar, is personally monitoring arrangements for the festival. Sports secretaries have also reached the venue to take stock of preparations.
