BREAKING NEWS: CBI refuses to give Ashok Kumar a clean chit

Ashok Kumar, the bus conductor who was initially suspected by Gurgaon Police to be the alleged murderer in the sensational Ryan International case, has been denied bail today by Gurgaon Court.

Another hearing is scheduled for November 20.
Though the CBI did not object to the bail plea, they refused to give a clean chit to Kumar. Their decision was supported by CCTV footage gathered as evidence.
In the footage, which was played out in the courtroom, Pradyuman is seen entering the washroom, then Kumar, and finally, the accused 16-year-old.
According to Sushil K Tekriwal, the Thakurs' lawyer, the investigation is still in its “premature” stages, and hence, Kumar should not be let out on bail.
However, according to Mohit Verma, Kumar’s defence counsel, the CBI does not have any evidence against his client. And, therefore, he added, Kumar’s bail plea should be accepted.
At the hearing today, the CBI also produced the complete case diary, as demanded by the court.
