Jansamskriti Dwarka, a socio-cultural group, organised its day-long annual cultural festival today at St Mary’s School in Sector 19, Dwarka.
Christened Sargolsavam, the event celebrated the culture of Kerala.
Residents participated in various competitions under different heads such as Carnatic music, Mohiyattam, Kathaprasangam (storytelling performance), Mappila Pattu (music from the Malabar region), mono act, fancy dress and other events.
Earlier, as a part of the event, Rachanolsavam, a literary competition — poem writing, story writing in both English and Malayalam — was also organised.
