A 25-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by two men in a moving car last evening. The victim lives on rent in Sector 36.

In the words of the victim, she was picked up from Golf Course Metro Station at around 6 pm and dumped near the Akshardham Temple. She was waiting for an auto-rickshaw to get to her house. Two men approached her in a Mahindra Scorpio and asked her about directions to Sector 18. As she was talking, one of the men dragged her inside the vehicle and drove away.
She was allegedly taken around various areas of Noida and Delhi, and dumped at about 2.30 am near Akshardham Temple. She dialled 100, the police helpline number, and soon a Delhi police team reached the spot and brought her to Sector 39 police station of Noida.
According to the police, the woman belongs to Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. She had come to Noida just 3-4 days to look for a job.
