The Uttar Pradesh electricity department has today launched a mobile application for consu mers to lodge power-related complaints and grievances. The app is called E-nivaran and is available for download on Google Play Store.
The app allows consumers to lodge their complaints from the comfort of their homes. They will not need to call on the helpline number, which either remains busy or has call attendants offering unsatisfactory responses.
A consumer can register with their mobile numbers to avail the service online.
According to Shrikant Sharma, electricity minister, Uttar Pradesh, the app is an integrated solution for consumers, enabling them to avail services and registering complaints of all sorts. Complaints received will be monitored and the complainants will be kept abreast of the status. Uttar Pradesh News
