Supertech Capetown guards and bouncer beat up resident!

In a bizarre incident, security guards of Supertech Capetown, an apartment complex in Sector 74, Noida, on Sunday beat up a resident of the society.

Amit Kumar, the resident who was beaten up, was on his way home after attending a family function in Raebareli with his family on the evening of June 2. On reaching the society, the security guards stopped their car from entering, as it did not have a sticker issued by the builder's maintenance office.

"My flat is in A-wing, which is quite far away from the main gate," said Kumar. "I requested the guards to drop my family and luggage off at my residence but they did not allow us to enter." noida local news

The security guards and Kumar soon got into an altercation. Soon, three to four guards and a bouncer arrived at the scene and started beating Kumar up. 

It was about 7 pm, so there were many residents who witnessed the incident.Some of them rushed to help Kumar and managed to free him from the guards. Kumar has lodged a complaint with the Sector 49 police station and urged the police to arrest the accused. An FIR, however, is yet to be lodged.  

Earlier, on April 21, 34-year-old Pavi Vatra, a software engineer and resident of the society, was beaten up when he went to the society’s maintenance office to lodge a complaint over lack of water supply in his flat.



The incident has created a sense of fear among residents. They will meet today to decide the course of action against the builder and his men.
