Gurgaon: How good work turns into a civic nightmare.

Residents of GurgaonOne in Sector 22 are facing difficult times owing to ongoing road-widening work on Old Delhi Road.

The condominium is on the main road, which now has several open pits — and monsoons have made matters worse.
One of the busiest roads in the city, it connects to NH 8, Shankar Chowk, Kapashera, Udyog Vihar, Maruti Suzuki and several other parts. Thousands of commuters use this road to reach their workplaces every day. gurgaon local news
Navneet Sahni, RWA president, said, “Moving in and out of the condominium is a nightmare. The entire road is jam-packed due to construction work, leaving little place for the vehicles to move.”
GurgaonOne has eight towers, with 283 homes and 1,000 residents.
Though the residents feel the work is necessary, they allege that the dug-up road has been left unattended by the authorities. gurgaon news
Speaking to City Spidey, Col (Retd) Sanjay Sehgal, office of estate manager, said, “The road was dug up around 3 feet deep. With rains overnight, it’s difficult to make out the dug–up parts. It’s extremely dangerous.”
A security guard at the gate of the condominium said, “Just the other day, a boy almost fell from his bike due to these pits and broken roads.” rwa management software
Speaking to City Spidey, MCG spokesperson SS Rohilla said, “We are working on the development of the city. Such work doesn’t happen overnight. The residents need to bear with us a little. We will ask a junior engineer to see what can be done.” visitor management sysetm
