Did the Griha Pravesh builder break a protesting resident's car window?

More than a hundred residents of Griha Pravesh, a society in Sector 77, Noida, today held a candle march on the society premises against the builder’s fake promises. The march started at Griha Pravesh, went up to Supertech North Eye in Sector 74 and then ended back at Griha Pravesh.

Residents told City Spidey that the builder had promised them amenities such as stack parking, a clubhouse, an amphitheatre and a solar hot water system, but the society has none of that yet. They alleged the builder had even charged them Rs 4 lakh for the stack parking. However, neither as the stack parking available, nor the basement parking – just open parking slots, which the builder as selling illegally to residents. Noida News
Residents also asked Noida Authority to remove illegal barricading from common areas such as the terrace and the roofs.
Gautam Kumar, president of the society AOA, told City Spidey that the builder had not yet handed over the society maintenance to the AOA. “The builder is still carrying on construction work on the top floors of the towers, despite already getting an occupancy certificate from Noida Authority. So the lifts are not only being used by us residents but also by the builder to transport construction material to the top floors. It’s a huge inconvenience for us,” he added. He also said that the builder did not give them half the things he had printed in the project brochure to sell his flats. There asn’t even proper maintenance of the badminton and the basketball courts, he said.
There’s also fear of persecution by some residents. This week a resident’s car that had a sticker of today’s candle march protest wasn’t allowed entry into the society. The vehicle had to be parked outside for the night, and in the morning, its windows were found broken. Residents suspect that as the builder’s doing.
When City Spidey contacted Abhay Kumar, CMD of Griha Pravesh, he said it had been a peaceful society till no, and that the residents were being incited by Noida Authority CEO Amit Mohan Prasad due to a personal grudge with the builder. “I would also like to say there are all promised facilities in the society,” he added.
He added that the society AOA as not a legal body and that a few people who banded together without informing other residents and the builder could not be called an AOA.
