Dadri MLA Tejpal Singh Nagar promises to redress residents’ grievances

Residents of Paramount Floraville, a high-rise residential complex in Sector 137, Noida, took up their issues with local MLA Tejpal Singh Nagar on Sunday at a meeting held at club house in the society. They apprised him that they have been living in the complex with poor facilities despite paying high maintenance charges to the developer.

The residents complained that even though they had moved into the complex some two years ago, even till date the builder has not managed to get a water connection from the Noida Authority.

Ankur Arora, a resident complained that the water they were drinking was hard water and salty. “We are being supplied ground water for drinking and daily use. It contains high TDS. If we don’t get supply of Ganga Jal and continuously keep consuming ground water, it will cause health issue,” he said. Noida News

Some 65 residents surrounded the MLA to seek his intervention. The residents handed over a memorandum and a complaint listing out their grievances. The memorandum contained a list of 11 demands that include better maintenance, stray animal menace, poor security and poor amenities.

Dinesh Dwivedi, another resident, said that the developer has not obtained occupancy certificates for two residential wings, which are known as Celcia and Fuchsia. He said that he (developer) owes dues to the Noida authority against land allotted for the housing project. This is the reason that the authority did not issue occupancy certificates.

Nagar said that due to wrong policy of the previous SP and BSP governments, “you (residents) have been forced to live such miserable lives. But as the issues have been brought to my notice, I will take these up with the government.”
