The traffic snarls this morning added to the frustration of commuters in Gurgaon who have been facing heavy rains for the past four days. The rains have caused waterlogging at several major intersections of the city — Iffco Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, NH 8 exits and Sohna Chowk.
Despite traffic officials deployed to manage the city's traffic, major congestion was witnessed at Huda City Centre and Signature Tower. Peak-hour traffic on arterial roads such as MG Road and Atul Kataria Road also came to a standstill. Gurgaon Society News

Construction work on Maharana Pratap Chowk and Signature Tower further added to the traffic chaos. Residents of sectors 14 and 17 were trapped inside their localities owing to the heavy congestion right outside their gates. rwa management software
“Traffic movement was so slow that it took me 30 extra minutes to cross the HUDA City Centre area,” said Vaibhav Kataria, a daily commuter to Supermart I, DLF Phase IV.
Kataria further added, “Pedestrians make matters worse. When they see the condition is so bad, they should use the foot overbridges wherever available, instead of walking amid traffic.” rwa management system
Gurgaon police has identified 23 spots across the city that require additional traffic police officials in the next 24 hours.
