Residents of Grand Omaxe and Omaxe Forest Spa, both of them residential societies in Sector 93B, Noida, expressed displeasure over the tri-party meeting with the builder and Noida Authority. They said that the meeting was a waste of time as Rohtas Gupta, founder of Omaxe group, did not turn up for the meeting. The meeting was held at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra on June 21.
Surya Prakash, general secretary of Grand Omaxe AOA, said, “There will not be any positive results due to the meeting as the decision maker from the builder’s side was absent. The meeting was a waste of time for residents and the Authority.” Noida Society News
Residents of both societies raised the common issue of pending registration of flats. They complained that they have paid the charge for stamp papers to the builder but the builder has not registered the properties with the registrar of department of stamp and duty. Residents of Grand Omaxe raised the issue of handover of the society from the builder. They claimed that the builder was not returning Rs 12 crore to the residents’ body, which is the amount deposited by residents with the builder as interest-free maintenance fund. noida news
Umog Sethi, president of the residents’ body, demanded that the Authority direct the builder to prepare a snag list for completion of the handover process.
