How many Amity International Class X students scored a perfect 10?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released its Class X results today.
Of the 453 students who appeared for the Class X exams from Amity International School in Sector 44, Noida, a whopping 339 passed with a CGPA of 10, an official of the school told City Spidey. All the other students secured first-division marks.

Most students said it was due to the quality of the study hours put in that they scored good marks in the CBSE exam. City Spidey spoke to a few students about their preparation.
One thing was clear. You didn't need to exclude extracurricular activities if you had to excel in studies.
Take Preeti Panigrahi, who secured 10 grade points, for example. This resident of NTPC Township in Sector 33 told City Spidey that a strict study timetable was the reason behind her great marks. However, school textbooks were not the only things she held dear. A winner of the National Bal Shree Award for theatre in 2015, she is also a regular participant in interschool competitions. "I have also won the best actress prize many times,” she added.
Mansi Chaudhary, who also got 10 grade points, echoed similar sentiments. She told City Spidey that she was a professional kathak dancer. "I have been taking private coaching for it since I was 11," she said.
Amid this happy news, however, is the observation that the pass percentage had fallen from 96.21 last year to 90.95, a dip of more than 5 per cent.
