Has your project builder been served a notice by Noida Authority?

Living up to homebuyers' expectations, the Yogi Adityanath government has issued strict orders to erring housing project developers in Noida. Noida Authority has served notices to a bunch of private real estate companies involved in developing housing projects in the city.

The move is an outcome of a series of tripartite meetings involving Noida Authority officials, builders and homebuyers held following an order by the Uttar Pradesh government to solve buyer issues.  noida local news
While inspecting housing projects, several builders were found guilty of violating the sanctioned project-layout plans. Most violations observed were in terms of illegal construction of parking lots, non-satisfactory compliance with fire safety norms and water leakage in basements of housing societies.
An official source with the Authority told City Spidey that many developers had sold parking lots illegally to individual residents, which were originally marked as open areas in the sanctioned project outlay. He said, "There are developers who have obtained fire and environment clearances from respective departments without their systems being in order.” noida news
According to the Authority's department of planning and architecture, about 20 housing projects have been inspected till date. Further inspections are scheduled.
There are a few housing projects, such as Amrapali Zodiac, Amrapali Silicon City, Gardenia Granite, Skytech Matrott, Supertech Capetown and Antriksh Golf, that have been served notices.
The notices state that these developers should take corrective steps to ensure the project-layout guidelines are strictly followed. They have been told to act on the violations and submit a progress report to the Authority within a week.
However, there are some developers that are yet to submit their reports to the Authority, even after the expiry of their deadline. The officer pointed out that if there is any further delay on the part of the builders, the Authority will initiate action against them.
