Express Zenith’s allege substandard construction, protest

Residents of Express Zenith, a residential complex in Sector 77, Noida, protested outside the developer’s project sales office on Sunday after plaster began peeling off in the building.

Some residents complained to City Spidey that the developer had used substandard construction material due to which plaster in the building has started falling.

Sanjeev Kumar, one of the residents, alleged that a portion of balcony on seventh floor in residential tower-F fell down. It damaged some flower pots kept in the balcony of the floor immediately below. “This is not the first time that plaster has fallen. I had narrow escape when a similar incident occurred on May 24. It fell just a foot away where i was standing below the tower-F,” Sanjeev Kumar said. noida local news
Residents of D and F towers of the complex too had similar complaints. But the developer has just ignored all the complaints and instead has blamed the residents of damaging the walls themselves.
Nitin Sharma, another resident, said, “when we gathered this morning to bring the issue to the builder’s notice, the staff present in his office pretended as if nothing has happened. The head of the sales office, Rajeev Pandey, Nithin Sharma said, felt that minor incidents like that keep happening which at best should be ignored. noida news
Pandey said he was very polite in dealing with the residents. “We were very positive while responding to residents’ complaints. This is the reason that we have started repairing of the damaged portion of the balcony.  I don’t know why they have been complaining despite our efforts to rectify and repair damage to the extent possible.”
The residents, meanwhile, said they were angry at the response of the builder, which they felt was not satisfactory.
Vineet Tripathy, another resident said, they will sit down to discuss the next course of action as there are several other issues that have to resolved. He said, “we will approach the Noida authority with request of solving issues in the complexes.”
