Mother's day is this Sunday. So, Gurgaon’s St Xavier’s High School and Suncity World School made sure that mothers had fun with their kids
in the days before the schools closed down for summer vacation.
At St Xavier’s High School, mothers were invited to participate in
craft activities with their kids. The aim: To bond over paper, scissors,
glue, glitter and the entire paraphernalia. The teams made flowers,
rockets, Spiderman masks, aquarium and even farms.
The atmosphere was full of positivity, and a photo frame was created capturing the special moments.
At Suncity World School, the mood was different but no less emotional.
Beautiful rendition of the song Motherhood, Sublime, Eternal left the audience enthralled. An equally captivating dance drama, Kaundh,
soon followed. The occasion was also used to appoint the student
council and post holders — and proud moms pinned the badges on to their
wards.
Speaking to City Spidey, chief guest Abha Adams said:
“Children are the greatest joy to their parents. Everyone should strive
to remain in the company of the parents as long as they can.”
